BVM Home - Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the processing time for my order of murals or canvas wall decor?
Because items are custom printed right to your order, processing time is typically 3 business days and your items will be shipped once they are ready. Processing time may vary when there are sales and promotions.
- What is the shipping time for an order of BVM Home?
Shipping usually takes up to 6-20 days depending on where you are located. Please ask if you want to have faster shipping on your own cost. We will choose to ship your item from our first available warehouse for faster delivery. Please do not be alarmed if you find no updates for a period of 3-5 days while tracking your delivery, as this is normal for the transition between carriers. Your package is still moving even though the tracking is not updated.
- Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer free shipping. Please ask if you want to have faster shipping on your own cost.
- For the canvas prints what is the difference between framed and unframed?
If you order the framed prints, we delivery it to you "ready to hang", no additional framing required. Your framed prints are carefully hand stretched and packaged before they are shipped. If you choose the unframed option, you will need to have them framed locally. Your unframed prints will be rolled and shipped to you in a tube. You will need to get this stretched on stretcher bars. Or you can cut and make it into a poster.
- How should I choose the right size for multi-panel canvas print?
Please be sure to measure out the area on the intended wall (with the reference to the sizes you choose) . Make sure you order the appropriate size and that your new wall art fits the way you would like it. Total up the width cm(or inches). Don't forget to add a bit for spacing between panels, since installed width should include the spacing between the panels which in most cases will be approx 1".
- How accurate are the dimensions in your descriptions?
Please note that measures in centimeters are very accurate, while inches is rounded up (40cm which is actually 15.748 but rounded to 16"). Please keep this in mind if you order your own frame/stretcher bars.
- Do you offer custom sized prints?
Yes. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide us the size (and/or the HD photo, if applicable) you are looking for. We will get back to you within 24 hours about whether this can be done. Please note if your customized framed prints is over sized, there will be a shipping charge added.

- Do you have instructions regarding on how to install the wallpapers?
Yes. If you choose to DIY, make sure you clean the wall first (maybe also mark the vertical lines on the wall for reference), and then you need to follow these steps: 1. Buy the right adhesive paste, since papers such as vinyl backed or lightweight require a specific paste. 2. Mix the paste powder in a separate bucket and stir well to get rid of all the lumps (not so well to avoid getting a lot of air into the mix). 3. Pour liquid paste directly into another bucket or a roller tray. 4. Lay a strip of wallpaper (size cut ready according to the height and width of the wall) pattern side down on a long, flat, dry table. One end of the paper will flop over the edge of the table. 5. Use a paint roller to apply the paste to the half of the paper that remains flat on the table, and make sure to cover every inch. 6. Fold the ection you just pasted over onto itself, and slide the dry section of the paper onto the table. Apply the paste. 7. Fold the next section onto itself, then fold the two halves against each other, and make sure not to crease the paper. This process is to keep the paper moist, the paste from dripping onto the floor and the pasted surface clean. 8. Set the paper aside in a clean spot for no more than 5 minutes before hanging it. 9. Every time after you set aside each strip of wallpaper, use a clean, wet sponge to clean the table so that you can get the paste off the table before it turns dry. 9. Paste the wallpaper strips to the wall and be sure to align the patterns. 10. Cut the unnessary wallpapers in the cornors or edges of the wall. 11. Close the doors and windows to let it dry naturally.
